While filling difficult healthcare roles may seem challenging, there are physician recruitment strategies you can employ to increase the likelihood of finding a great fit for your practice.

Physician burnout is more than a buzz phrase; it is a pervasive problem that can negatively impact the lives and careers of physicians while increasing the likelihood of medical errors and lowering the quality of patient care. 2 - 3:30 pm ET - Post-Pandemic Strategies for Mitigating Burnout for Radiologists
Presenters: Tom Aug and Bill Mills

You don’t need an x-ray to see that burnout among radiologists is a significant problem.  Almost one-half (47%) of radiologists reported feeling burned out or depressed; frequently both.  This crisis was exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic with physicians working more hours and not spending time with families and friends.  During the webinar, administrators are given strategies to beat burnout by decreasing stress, increasing providers’ ability to concentrate at work, and improving work-life balance.  This strategic approach helps radiology groups strengthen their recruiting and retention efforts in an already highly competitive market.

After the session, you are able to:

• Recognize factors contributing to burnout among radiologists.
• Develop a plan to diagnose the source and intensity of burnout in your practice.
• Implement strategies to address the sources of burnout in their practice.
