Transferring Cyber Risk Through Insurance: How the Best Coverage Fits With Your Internal Risk Management Processes and Cyber Security Investment

This session examines how Cyber insurance not only transfers your cyber risk to a third party (the insurer) but also supports your response to an incident and your liabilities to patients and regulators. This session will identify the key coverage grants and the insurance market response to the huge rise in severity and frequency of losses from ransomware. Recent losses have led insurers to select risks primarily based on the controls in place to prevent and mitigate losses from ransomware attacks. The session will identify the controls that insurers now require, helping you to establish a security program that will position you to secure the best possible insurance coverage.
