Incorporation of midlevel providers into a radiology practice: what procedures can a midlevel provider perform and what type of "supervision" is required from the Radiologist. This session will go into detail about some specific diagnostic and interventional radiology exams midlevel providers perform and how they perform these exams to give some clarity for coding and billing purposes. Will provide visual aids of certain products used to perform exams and list different ancillary staff that is utilized during certain exams and procedures. 

After the session, you will:  

1. Recognize the devices midlevel’s utilize when performing IR procedures
2. Know what types of procedures / diagnostic imaging a midlevel can perform
3. Identify collaboration between a midlevel and radiologist and its impact on your practice.
