CWC: If You Want Me to Stay: The Importance of Belonging

If You Want Me to Stay: The Importance of Belonging.
Presented by: Sly Mata, Director of Diversity Education, University of Virginia

What does it mean to belong? And how do we get there? What happens if a sense of belonging is not found? These questions and more will be discussed in the workshop “If you want me to stay: the importance of belonging”.

This workshop will discuss the benefits and advantages of discovering a sense of belonging within an organization. Additionally, this workshop will provide four essential ingredients/concepts to achieve this stage. Come ready to discuss and engage with your peers about what a sense of belonging means to you!
