Advocacy in Action

Do you have concerns about current or future proposed legislation, regulations, policies, etc. and how they may impact your profession.  RBMA understands this and is turning advocacy into action, providing top tier grassroots and inside the beltway initiatives. The role of RBMA Advocacy is to represent, petition, defend and promote the business of radiology to Federal/State legislative and regulatory entities. Through research and education with the help of our national and chapter membership,  we educate regulatory agencies on the impact of burdensome regulation and the importance of funding.

With the help of volunteers on the RBMA Federal Affairs Committee, our lobbyists Thorn Run Partners and our public affairs firm Clout Strategies, RBMA has a winning team committed to advocating for radiology practices and their patients.

RBMA Hill Day

In this ever changing time, education and your engagement is key to the success of proper radiology legislative action and regulatory policy. Each year RBMA hosts a Hill Day where we bring radiology business professionals from around the country to Washington, D.C. to educate each other and legislators on the issues facing the radiology business management profession.
