    CTA Rail System

    Bears (Soldier Field) – April is not football season, but stadium tours are available. Originally opened in 1924, Soldier Field is one of Chicago’s most famous landmarks. Its colonnades are open and accessible to the public year-round. During a walk along the south end of the upper promenade, visitors view the Medal of Honor display, featuring recipients of the highest award for valor in action. Upon entering Soldier Field at Gate O, visitors are greeted by a life-size bronze Doughboy statue. The Parkland surrounding Soldier Field is home to beautifully landscaped grounds and family areas such as the Children’s Garden and Veterans Memorial.

    Blackhawks and Bulls (United Center) – The Blackhawks’ regular season ends April 8, and the Bulls’ regular season ends April 12. The United Center, home to the Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bulls, is the largest arena in the United States and hosts over 200 events annually. Statues of Blackhawks legends Bobby Hull and Stan Mikita stand outside of Gate 3 ½, and statues of the Bulls’ Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen stand in front of Gates 4 and 7, respectively.

    Cubs (Wrigley Field) – The World Series winning Cubs are playing away against the Pittsburgh Pirates, but don't miss the exciting opportunity to go behind-the-scenes with Wrigley Field Tours. This must-see Chicago attraction houses more than 100 years of history.

    White Sox (Guaranteed Rate Field) – The White Sox are playing at home against the Kansas City Royals!

    Chicago Cultural Center – Drawn by its beauty and the fabulous free public events, hundreds of thousands of visitors come to the Chicago Cultural Center every year, making it one of the most visited attractions in Chicago. The stunning landmark building is home to world's largest Tiffany stained-glass dome, as well as free music, dance and theater events, films, lectures, art exhibitions and family events.

    Chicago Riverwalk – The Riverwalk offers a variety of opportunities to find the beauty and spirit of the Chicago River. The City backdrop invades this unique experience, presenting visitors with an unexpected perspective. Any way you decide to take on the Riverwalk, you will be delighted with the choices you have to enjoy this treasure.     Navy Pier – Located on Lake Michigan, the Navy Pier has served many purposes throughout its rich history and currently encompasses more than fifty acres of parks, gardens, shops, restaurants, family attractions and exhibition facilities. Daily cruises are available from several companies.

    Shedd Aquarium – Dive in to a coastal environment of Beluga whales, dolphins, sea otters, and seals at the Shedd Aquarium's 3-million-gallon saltwater Oceanarium, the largest indoor marine mammal habitat in the world.

    Skydeck Chicago – Step outside the Willis Tower, the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. At 1,353 feet in the air, the Ledge’s glass boxes extend out 4.3 feet from the 103rd floor Skydeck, offering spectacular views spanning up to four states! The Skydeck is open 365 days a year.
