Pre-Conference: Interventional Radiology in the Private Clinic Setting*

If you are considering opening an outpatient Interventional Radiology clinic, this workshop will provide the insight and resources necessary to build a sound IR business model. Attendees will have access to SIR toolkits that contain a treasure trove of information geared to E&M and setting up a new practice or focused on MACRA and coding and reimbursement practice. Attendees will learn how to develop their practice infrastructure for long-term sustainability. In addition, they will gain insight into marketing for both the referring physician and the consumer audience and walk away with examples of “best practices” to increase their outpatient IR experience. Both the interventional radiologist and practice administrator will benefit from this in-depth session

At the conclusion of the session, the attendee will be able to:

  • Determine clinical and economic feasibility of running private IR clinic
  • Identify what procedures are best suited for outpatient IR Clinic (operations)
  • Create the concept of targeted marketing for volume growth in IR clinic
