Attendee Registration Cancellation and Liability Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations must be made in writing. If written notification is postmarked by Sept. 17, 2021, a refund less $100 administration fee will be made. No refunds will be made after Sept. 17, 2021. If you are unable to attend and you wish to transfer your registration to another individual, written notification is required at least 5 days prior to the conference. No refunds or cancellations for events requiring additional fees will be made after Sept. 17, 2021. Exceptions will only be granted as defined in the impossibility clause.

PHOTO RELEASE: RBMA reserves the right to photograph conference activities for use in publications, including electronic publications, or in audio-visual presentations, promotional literature, advertising, or in other similar ways. By signing this application, I hereby give RBMA and their legal representatives and assigns, the right and permission to publish, without charge, photographs taken at the event.

LIABILITY WAIVER: I agree and acknowledge that I am undertaking participation in RBMA events and activities as my own free and intentional act and I AM fully aware that possible physical injury might occur to me as a result of my participation in these events. In case of cancellation of or programmatic change in the meeting for reasons beyond the control of the RBMA, it is understood that the liability of the association shall be limited to the provisions defined on the impossibility clause.

IMPOSSIBILITY: If unanticipated events beyond the reasonable control of the RBMA (including, but not limited to: acts of God; declared war in the United States; government regulation; terrorist attacks in the city in which Hotel is located; or curtailment of transportation either in the city in which Hotel is located or in the countries/states of origin of the attendees that prevents at least 40 percent of the attendees from arriving to the event); government regulation, CDC Level 3 Travel Advisory or other government agency recommending against travel to Las vegas or government recommendation or restrictions on meeting or event size for the Event dates, make it commercially impracticable, illegal, or impossible to hold the event, a refund will be granted if the act preventing an in-person meeting happens before the cancellation date set forth as Sept. 17, 2021. Should the act preventing an in person meeting happen after the cancellation date of Sept. 17, 2021 it is understood that no refunds will be made and the registration fee shall be credited to the attendee's account and can subsequently be applied to RBMA in-person or virtual programming. Do note that credits must be used within one year.
