For CY 2021 CMS proposes to set separate payment rates for all five levels of new and established E/M visit CPT codes rather than blending payment rates for certain levels, as was finalized last year. In addition, CMS recommends adopting the RUC recommended new E&M code to communicate prolonged services for both new and established patients. RBMA appreciates CMS's commitment to reducing physician burden and documentation requirements, however the result of this proposal has a significant impact to medical specialties that do not bill E/M codes. Specialties whose practices rarely have office visits with patients like radiology are set to see cuts in 2021. Radiology can expect reimbursement would fall by up to 8 percent or more.   This webinar will detail the impact of this reduction on radiology services.

The Chapter Webinar Consortium consists of twelve RBMA Official Chapters who have joined together with RBMA National to provide bi-monthly webinars to their members.  The participating chapters are:  California, Delta States (Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi), Florida, Heartland (Kansas, Missouri), Illinois, Michigan, New England (Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont), Northeast (Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania), Ohio, Oregon, Rocky Mountain (Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming) and Texas.

RBMA Members within these Chapters register for FREE.  RBMA Members not located in these Chapters can register for a nominal fee ($25).  Non-members may also register for an increased fee ($100).
