The supply and demand imbalance in radiology creates a critical need to optimize physician efficiency and productivity. To relieve the strain on its 70+ physician radiology group, Quantum, set an aggressive goal to increase FTE capacity by 20% – effectively turning 1 FTE into 1.2 FTE. Achievement of this sustained goal since 2009 and building on decades of diagnostic imaging and practice management experience the Helix Radiology Performance Suite was born.
